Patmont Motor Werks raises the bar again for truly portable electric vehicles. Now an even more affordable Li-ion powered GoPed! The "I PED 8". The 8 Amp Hour I Ped is now available. Three pounds lighter than the I Ped 16, and several hundred dollars less expensive as well. Ideal for entry level scooter commuters, and GoPedders that want the "state of the art" Li-ion powered PEV, Portable Electric Vehicle. The highly affordable, I Ped 8 comes with not only the on board smart charger but the 6 amp off board charger/conditioner as well, and the I Ped can be easily upgraded to 16 Ah at a later date. Otherwise the I Ped 8 is identical to the I Ped 16.

Though range is reduced by 50%, top speed stays the same as the I Ped 16. Light enough to carry up several flights of stairs. Small enough to fit on the bus, train, ferry, or even under a shopping cart. Strong enough to carry up to 250 lbs. Powerful enough to speed you up to 18 mph in Turbo mode.

Manufactured in the USA with the same legendary American Go-Ped strength, reliability and styling. Capable of up to 9 miles range in Econo mode with a 150 lb rider. Recharges in less than 1.25 hours with the 6 amp off board charger. Can be recharged by any standard wall outlet with it's additional 2.6 amp on board charger. Auto-adjusting Chain Tensioner – This important improvement is based on it's earlier manual adjusting high abrasion resistant predecessor which uses the same mounting position. It now incorporates a longer and spring loaded slot with automatically consistent, yet gentle slack elimination which effortlessly stop chain derailments. The auto adjusting chain adjuster now accommodates greater chain "slactitudes" found with various sprocket combinations and changing chain conditions.

Electric Motor - After over a year of research for the most powerful and reliable engine, the I-Ped® provides for unmatched power and offers no compromises on performance. It is equipped with a robust and well proven DC brush type motor with “Electro Head” finned heat sink that is capable of producing over 1HP in continuous operation. The high output makes it the most unique scooter able to tackle steep hills with ease.

Electronic Controller – We would have to kill you if we told you too much, but what we can reveal is that the I-Ped® electronic power controller is a sophisticated and proprietary pulse width modulated design. The ESR750 line of Go-Ped Scooters are the only electric scooters of their kind equipped with an advanced computerized variable speed and programmable controller. With a wide variety of EPROM (Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory) programmable functions, it gives users the freedom to not only do on board diagnostics but also customize performance.

Dual Performance Modes - The operator can chose the "Econo" or "Turbo" performance mode on the throttle control to either go "twice as far, half as fast", or "twice as fast, half as far", providing users with absolute control over their choice of speed and range.

On Board Charger - The ESR750 has a very efficient on board "Smart Charger" to quickly, safely and fully recharge batteries using a separate charging chord to any 110v or 220v household power outlet worldwide.
